It is between 1953 and 1960 that Le Corbusier (famous French Architect) realized the Convent Sainte-Marie de la Tourette at the request of the Dominicans of Lyon. This convent is as laid in the wilderness of the forest and meadows. The facades are made of raw concrete, the few fills painted with white lime. The walls of the church will be in "banchage".
